Boar's Head Listeria Outbreak Sickens 22 States

The Boar's Head Outbreak
In August 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced an outbreak of Listeria infections linked to Boar's Head deli meats. As of October 2022, the outbreak has sickened 22 people in 12 states. One person has died.
The CDC has advised people to avoid eating Boar's Head deli meats, including sliced meats, prepackaged meats, and meat used in sandwiches and salads. The company has recalled all of its deli meats that were produced at its Davenport, Iowa, facility.
